This is a set of an 18-8 stainless steel dripper and a heat-resistant glass carafe.
The Bart Dripper is designed for use with cone-shaped paper filters, allowing extraction control solely through the brewer's technique. It features a very simple structure that does not control extraction speed through dripper shape, number of holes, or hole size. This structure has been refined to minimize the contact area between the paper filter and dripper to just 1.5mm in width.
By supporting the paper filter only in the vertical direction, the extracted coffee flows unimpeded through the apex of the cone without pooling anywhere. Since hot water passes naturally through the paper filter, the brewing technique is directly reflected in the coffee flavor. This allows the brewer complete freedom to enjoy the extraction process.
The carafe features a wide mouth for easy cleaning and a compact design (approximately 172mm in height) that fits conveniently in kitchen cabinets.

Tsubame-Sanjo: History of metalworking
The metal processing industry in Tsubame-Sanjo is said to have originated in the early Edo period. It is believed that the production of Japanese nails began as a relatively accessible craft during times when agricultural crops could not be harvested, and this was further encouraged by the increased demand for Japanese nails in Edo due to repeated earthquakes and great fires.

Characteristics of Tsubame-Sanjo metal processing
Tsubame-Sanjo is a collective name for Tsubame City and Sanjo City in Niigata Prefecture, and has long been a major hub for metal processing industries including cutlery, work tools, metal tableware, and metal housewares. Many companies engaged in metal processing such as cutting difficult-to-machine materials like stainless steel and titanium, and precision sheet metal processing are concentrated here, and their technical capabilities are highly regarded.
