ST Mesh Dripper M (for 1 to 4 cups)

The ST Mesh Dripper M is a dripper that filters using a fine 600-mesh high-density metal filter woven from ultra-fine stainless steel wire instead of paper filters. (600 mesh means there are 600 openings within a 25.4mm length.)

Paper filters are "made of paper." Since paper absorbs liquids, it moderately absorbs various components from coffee beans during extraction, resulting in a clean-tasting coffee. On the other hand, the fine mesh filter of the ST Mesh Dripper M is made of stainless steel and does not absorb liquids. This means all components extracted from the coffee beans can be enjoyed as flavor.

In particular, since it does not absorb "oils = coffee oils (umami components)," it leads to coffee's natural richness and the smooth mouthfeel and mellow taste that can be described as full-bodied.

Unfortunately, cleanup after using the fine mesh filter is somewhat troublesome. Unlike paper filters, you cannot simply "dispose of the filter with the grounds." To dispose of the coffee grounds remaining in the filter after extraction, please scrape out the coffee grounds, and for any parts that cannot be scooped out, rinse them away with running water.
